This book was advertised as disgusting and it was...in places. Stokoe managed to make me quit reading and skip a couple of pages while I was trying to overcome the retching. Overall the book was more psychologically disturbing than visceral.
It was a good and short read but left me questioning why someone would pick a story about talking, rebellious cows to try to summarize or illustrate man's quest to explain his existence?
I am glad I got it finally off my to read shelf but I have to admit, I found it only average.
